On March 4, 2019 members of various religious groups and human rights organizations held a press conference in the US Congress announcing the official establishment of the Coalition to Advance Religious Freedom in China (CARFC).The Coalition’s mission is to urge the US government to take strong action on Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) suppression of religious freedoms. As part of the Coalition, Christian representatives withThe Church of Almighty God (CAG) described the CCP’s persecution of faiths at the press conference, particularly the brutality toward their Church, garnering interest from lawmakers and the media.
